Abstract

Early childhood Art Learning is a number of activities that can be done by children by involving more motor skills, especially fine motor skills. Art for children functions as a medium to express feelings, ideas, ideas, and thoughts. His work is a play tool of imagination and communication. Early Childhood Educators (ECED) must have an understanding of art in ECED, in order to bring out the potential of children's art as optimally as possible. Early Childhood Educators (AUD) must have an understanding of art in AUD, in order to bring out children's artistic potential as optimally as possible. ABA Kindergarten has creative dance activities which are still monotonous, lack of practice, lack of dance activities which are only held for events such as farewell events, and a lack of teachers who can train dancing because the teachers at the school lack knowledge of dance. At the Pekalongan ABA Kindergarten school there are 18 children, showing that child therapy has improved, including 10 children developing as expected, and 8 children developing very well. The aim of this research is to find out how to improve Monday's skills through creative dance in Group B TK ABA Pekalongan. The method in this research is using the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The research subjects consisted of 18 children at the ABA Pekalongan Kindergarten.Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews, field notes and documentation notes. The research was carried out in 2 cycles, namely cycle I consisting of 8 actions by performing dance movements assisted by the teacher and cycle II consisting of 3 actions by performing dance movements without assistance from the teacher. The results of this research showed that: 1) in pre-research the child's gross motor skills were 12%, 2) after the children were given action in cycle I, the child's gross motor skills increased to 19%, 3) in cycle II the results were 77%. Thus, improving Monday dance skills through creative dance at Kindergarten ABA Pekalongan is at a developing level as expected. However, with the learning of dance students can channel and develop their talents.
