Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the teaching and learning process of Islamic Religious Education, especially in the subject of Islamic Cultural History during the Covid-19 pandemic at MTs NW Lepak. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection techniques are Observation (Observation) Interview (interview) and Documentation. The results of the study found that the SKI (Islamic Culture History) learning strategy at MTs NW Lepak used different learning strategies for each indicator. The obstacles faced in studying SKI during the covid-19 period at MTs NW Lepak were: 1. The limited number of teaching staff caused the ineffectiveness of teaching and learning activities; 2. Students feel that they do not really understand the SKI material that has been given, for them when so many assignments and materials will become a burden for them; 3. Funding is a barrier to online learning; 4.Facilities and infrastructure to support online learning activities are still inadequate.
