This study aims to implement the School Literacy Movement (GLS) as an Effort to Increase Students' Reading Interest at SDN 2 Bilok Petung and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for the Implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) as an Effort to Increase Students' Reading Interest at SDN 2 Bilok Petung. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through field studies which include observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) at SDN 2 Bilok Petung is realized by the implementation of the Reading Corner program, Morning Reading and mandatory visits to the Tahdumul Jibal Community Reading Park (TBM). (2) Supporting factors include: adequate facilities, the active role of all school members, high student enthusiasm for literacy, the presence of outsiders who help and a comfortable and conducive school environment. While the inhibiting factors include: the collection of books is still lacking, the library has not been used and has been converted into a temporary school kitchen, not all children have the same motivation for literacy and there is no library administrator who specifically manages and runs the library.
