PENDIDIKAN ANAK USIA DINI DALAM AL-QUR’AN DAN HADIST

Abstrak

This study aims to explain how early childhood education in the Koran. As for this research, it uses a research approach to library research (library research). The primary sources used in this study were the Koran and the hadiths of the Prophet, while the secondary sources were literature related to sources of Koran studies on early childhood education, both obtained from commentary books, various mu'jam ( dictionaries), opinions of scientists or experts in Islamic education, books on Islamic and general studies, encyclopedias, and digital information sources.

           From the data obtained in this study, the main conclusions can be drawn about early childhood education in the view of the Koran. The term child is mentioned in various ways according to the context in each word. Among them are zurriyah which can be said to be a descendant, ibn or can be interpreted as a child, and walad which can also be interpreted as a child. In addition there are athfal, shabiy, aqrab, asbath, gulam and many others. The purpose of early childhood education aims to provide stimulation or stimulation to children so that physically and spiritually they are able to become human beings who believe in and fear God Almighty, have noble character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, critical, creative, innovative, independent, confident, and become democratic and responsible citizens.
